The activated carbon will keep your pond natural for all the life in it.
Many ponds need to have chemically clean clear water when filling.
Activated carbon will pick up many contaminates such as chlorine or fluorides as well as other chemicals in the water used to fill your
pond. It is best to have prefiltered the water you are using to fill
the pond so that you can extend the usage of the activated carbon.
Always keep the product dry and closed up and the shelf life will be extended making it more economical to use.
The Activated Carbon comes in a 5 pound bag. You need 5 cups for 100 gallons to be filtered.
